“Emotional intelligence is inclusion. It is the ability to be your true self and be accepted. Emotional intelligence is a life skill. It’s a leadership skill. And it’s something we need to nurture in our kids, now more than ever.”

That’s what Mark shared when speaking at the EQJOY World launch party, a new initiative helping kids (and grown-ups, too) build their emotional intelligence through play, specifically, card games.

We support EQJOY World because they are not about fixing kids. They want to equip them with tools through play and conversations. As other speakers emphasized last night, we want to instill a sense of confidence and resilience.
